As a member of the Town Council, I will work to be the bridge between complex town policy and the people it affects. Government should be accessible, and decisions should be made in the light of day with clear, data-backed evidence.

Key Priorities
Restore trust in elected officials, ethics and transparency in governing, and ensure residents’ voices are heard
Protect the desert and all of the natural resources that our community relies on
Provide clear visibility into Marana’s budget and ensure tax dollars are spent in an equitable and fiscally responsible way
Clearly communicate how and why town decisions are made and establish regular community engagement to ensure resident-driven decision making
Keep data centers and other predatory development OUT of Marana
Protect the privacy of residents and reduce the use of surveillance technology, such as Automated License Plate Readers
Prioritize locally-owned small businesses, keeping money in Marana’s economy
Ensure development is balanced and that our employment, infrastructure, and resources can support it
Support reform for the Empowerment Scholarship Account program, including establishing standards for success, eliminating waste and fraud, and ensuring adequate public education funding
